Internet diagnostic tool?
Is there a program I can run to monitor my internet connection? What I'd like is to be able to run a program in the background to produce a nice little easy to read representation of how often and when my internet connection drops?

I'm not really interested in the speed (within reason) but really want to know when I have connection issues that are causing time outs in LFS. I'd like to be able to run it on multiple computers to see whether the computer that is wired does any better than the one with a PCI adapter.

I know that Bullguard Virus Protection does that, but you have to pay.

WinMTR - http://winmtr.sourceforge.net/

Tells you packet loss etc.
You can run it while playing, but it won't tell you when drops occur over a period of time.

Maybe it's not bullguard then!

It's whatever my Aunt's computer's virus checker is!

Sorry about that
