I think this can be a small add on that'll give the car a good look. I'm not sure what the future of s3 will hold as far as textures and add ons but this I feel will help with car looks, as of right now. I've made a post in Misc. Addons to see if it can be done and I think it would be neat to have this in later version. If there can be a MASSIVE FMIC on the turbo cars then hecks yah I'd like to see that in replace of the mesh, but I'm not sure if that can be done yet or if that'll be in later patches or version.

Hopefully LFS will never get MASSIVE FMIC, although it would explain the terrible lag the turbo modelling has. Once that's improved there would be no reason to add a MASSIVE FMIC unless you actually wanted that lag again (but no additional power).

Grilles make cars slower and heavier. A car for a track doesn't need them (though are good for road use, where debris lurks more often).

Anyone who asks for a MASSIVE FMIC obviously doesn't understand turbos or intercoolers.

I wasnt asking for a MASSIVE FMIC, and I think I understand turbos and IC enough. I'm just saying how I'd like to see something there, besides BLACK. and how is mesh going to add weight? OO Yeah probably an added weight of 2oz if that.

On topic: In what way would LfS benefit from meshes, and what use would they be? Right now, there's no debris that'd need to be prevented to enter no-go areas, and it's not like you'd see them while racing anyways.

Your argument is that the mesh would "look good". What's the point in that? You are not going to notice it while you are racing. Or even in replays. The one place where it would be seen are screenshots. To them it's very easy to add it afterwards. So no real need for mesh in LfS.

i think the term for us americans that everyone else has been going on about is mash or mashed as in mashed potatoes.


Mesh on the cars would serve no purpose and unless you're driving in the swing cam view looking backwards ot at a replay you couldn't see it
