How about now?

EDIT: And some newer footage:

EDIT2: Look at the movement of the head, not at the camera movement..?

Yes, so? When I race my head shakes too. But I NEVER notice that, because my brain listens to both the signals from my eyes and signals from my inner ear, and cancels out any visible movement. If you saw the head movements, even in a weedy little car like mine, then you would not be able to drive at all.

Try it on a bumpy road - your body moves, your head moves, but your view remains pretty static.
Graphics car vibration since X patch
Just wondering if they where altered in any way.
When driving the Fox around S01, I was getting a bit dizzy with the bouncing up and down of the car.
I can't remember feeling like that before. Can the vibration of the cockpit be reduced? It was giving me a headache.
Maybe it's my eyesight.

Cheers

In X, the cockpit would bounce but in X30, everything bounces - your entire view, including the track/scenery. This is the change you're seeing
Not to mention that the track is a fair deal bumpier, which exacerbates things.

You have to knock down the Lateral G force I think. It was one of those I had to do it too. I couldn't see anything going into the corners
This is another realistic new setting which is fab IMO!

Hitting a bump or driving over rough ground (and curbs) in real life would cause everything to shake, including your head, which would obviously make your view shake all over the place!

Add's to the character of the track IMO

Thanks Everyone,

I set the Head tilt option in Views to 0 and it fixed it.

Cheers

But in a real car Rob. it wouldn't be as bad as you would move up and down with the car and so cancel some of the vertical movement out.
I Think!

True, perhaps the settings are a little too strong? As mentioned I personally like the movement with the bumps, obviously you do move with the car in realy life - however your head will still bob and shake with sudden drops and rises in the track.

At least you have the option to change the settings though

I haven't got a problem with it to be honest. I've driven and ridden in cars and on bikes that have had suspension so hard that they rattles your eyes out of their sockets so to speak. Yes bumpy enough that I was unable to focus on what is in front of me.
The most funny way this shaking effect was expressed in LFS was before, maybe patch V or W, when the viewpoint could travel anywhere. If you drove backwards into a wall, you could see your head. In BF1 at the oval your eyes moved laterally as far as to the wheel! Was funny watching your car from the outside.

Back in 2003 I noticed that moving POV makes you feel you turn or brake more that in reality, and I switched it off.

I'm bit of puzzled here.

Just upgraded my system, old one was:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Ati radeon x850xt
1GB ram

New one is in same OS installation:
Intel Core 2 Duo e6750
Nvidia Geforce 6800GT
2GB ram

My view settings are perfectly same as before, it still shakes a lot when over kerbs, but I can now see perfectly fine even it does shake a lot, same fps limited to 60, I find this odd.

Maybe I start disliking Ati cards or something?
