Can anyone verify that the Logitech DriveFX wheel for xbox 360 CANNOT be set to seperate axes for gas/brake? I've tried Logitech Gaming Software, in-game settings, and control panel>game controllers, but to no avail...

I bought this wheel the morning after I downloaded the LFS demo, as it was available locally, i was dying to try the demo with something other than the kb, and my old roomate had an xbox. Should have done some research first, as always...

If the wheel is recognised by the software it should work i guess. Have you tried Options>Global Device Settings> report combined pedals. at the bottom in it's own category.

Edit: BTW using the logitech profiler.

Try just going to the joystick preferences through the control panel. That's where you might find the option to "report combined pedals" or something along those lines. At least that's how it is with the G25.

The Logitech software I have won't even recognize it! You'd think from the same company....

Thanks so much for your input. Unfortunately, this wheel still isn't recognized by the XBCD utility. Looks like it's time for a new one....

UPDATE: I've also tried the Pinnacle Game Profiler now, with no luck. Apparently it's quite impossible to create a new axis for this increasingly annoying wheel...
