Just looking for some help with this problem I can't seem to figure out.
No matter what setup or what car I use I always seem to have a loss of power compared to everyone else. The only thing I can think of when it comes to this is the amount of tire scrub (Which I make minimal), and that I use full steering lock most of the time. ( Be mindful that I used to play RFactor and if its an obvious answer don't flame me)

Using max steering lock will cause LOADS of tyre scrub, and so you'll be REALLY slow out of each corner, and you'll never reclaim that speed/time loss before losing some more at the end of the next straight.

Ok I tired that and it doesn't work. I got a setup from a fast guy and they were using near max steering lock, but they have high tire pressures so would that be my problem? (Btw they had a lot more tire scrub then I do)

It's most likely driving style. You're just not coming out of the corners fast enough. Tristan was referring to how much steering lock you were applying, rather than the lock limit in the setup.
