Hey there, congratulations on your new program, by looking at the pics people have posted it looks great fun.

However, I'm having a problem with it. I'm getting a runtime error 13 of a "Type: mismatch"
Hope you can help let me know what's going on, and how to fix it.

I'm on good old standard XP with an english version of LFS... unlocked of course.

As a demo racer i dont think you are able to use UF1 anyway? Or then you have "you-know-what" for this game...

Would there be a memory adress to change the revlimiter?
6973 is the max RPM for any engine config so it limits a lot of car configs. Everything else seems to work fine. Not even going to touch the Rim editor
ya there are some bugs but it still works with a few features. good work man i tested it out for awhile. just been gettin bored with lfs. no new programs and other things. been playin rfactor. i never thought i would say this but its actually ok if you can get past a few of the things

How slow does someone have to be to basically say "I have a crack for patch X, but not Y. Is there a tweak for X so that I can tweak the UF1?"

Then again, maybe we're all wrong and he has dual-accounts, but meh...
This may be prohibitively difficult, but could you add a bit of scripting to allow a user to 'search' for certain engine specs?

Example: I'm trying to recreate the D16A6 engine in the XFG. It's a whole lot of trial and error to get the hp, torque, AND peak rpm values correct by modifying the settings given.

My proposed feature:Allow the user to enter a 'desired' hp, torque, and peak rpms, then have LFSTune do a search for a combination of the "General HP", "Torque", and "Powerband" settings that get somewhat close to the desired values.

I guess you'd have to have some scripting to trigger LFS to recompute the hp and torque values, and that seems like it'd be the hard (possibly impossible) part.

Could somebody tell me a way to have all the settings to make a car go VERY fast? I managed to get the sauber to do 430mph but my friend said he got one of the demo cars up to 800?
Erm. he lied!

LFS is incapable of simulating an object travelling faster than around 450 MPH, the car simply resets once you hit this limit.

I'd take it as a sure sign your demo friend hasn't ever been faster than about 400

Oh and he's a s2er but he was just doing it on one of the demo cars lol.

It might have been possible with S1 (never got higher than about 350 with mecanik+S1) but it's never been possible with S2. I'd love to see it done, going supersonic along the Blackwood straight must be rather interesting!
