Question on rims?!
Ok so when you take a real photo of a car you can see the movment of the rims and tires, While in LFS it is stoped dead...Why is this?!
Because LFS doesn't:
A support motion blur
B ..support any textural form of motion blur, but that doesn't matter because the wheels are 3d objects
C Even when it's moving it isn't blurry

D Take a photo fast enough and the wheels won't be blurry at all

A blurred effect can be achieved even when using 3D models, and it's not a case of taking a picture fast enough, it's a case of taking the picture at a _certain_ speed, the same as spinning the wheels and matching the revs to the frame rate, the wheels will appear static, revving faster will show them turning again.

Huh?
I think you just wen't around the entire point of him saying "picture"
3d and photography aren't at all the same.
There is no "frame rate" in photography.

I know what you mean in 3d though, I know how to do that, but that isn't photography in any aspect, also like I said, LFS doesn't support it.

Now, if you want to talk about eyesight, if you want to make it look like your wheels are blurry, get your FPS around the 120 region and they'll look blurry. But of course a screen shot will stop it. There is a trick to making them look blurry though, use shift-U, follow the car in a replay, hit pause, take a screenshot, save it somewhere, unpause and pause as fast as you can, take screenshot, save, etc. rense and repeat.

You'll get something similar to this: (which I did a while back)

Failing that, you could always add the blur yourself with something like photoshop, which is damn easy.

No they are made by multiple screen grabs overlaid upon each other.

.. lol I just said how I made them.

Plus, you can't take screenshots with that thing, or atleast I've never been able to.

@nathan, at first it may look worse, but i'm sure one can get better at it, plus it is far more realistic than cheaping your way with a motion blur system, which blurs in a single direction, not dynamically.
Or just shake the screen really hard while your sister presses 'Prt Scr'. Works for me.

I know 3D and photography are separate animals, but the OP was comparing a photo of a car and a screenshot in a relevant situation. I used the game as an example, hence the FPS reference, but didn't make it clear.

For photography, shutter speeds would be the equivalent to FPS in a round-about kind of way, match that to the revs of the wheel and you'll end up with a photo that looks like an LFS screenshot (well, kinda ).

I can't get 120fps, but with the FPS I do get, my wheels often look blurred (and rotate in both directions, the "strobe effect" or whatever it's known as) while playing but obviously still appear static when I take a screenshot.

I don't take many screenshots, but if I do and add motion-blur, I use Photoshop's blur filters.. I'm lazy

I know that there is not the part when i have to ask but i will ask:Is there a bespoke for a patch Y
