I doubt it is a real car that was used to race, but I could be wrong.

I've seen many 'formula' mock-ups as a kid and still to this day, and they are usually some 3rd party fiberglass shell slapped on an incomplete chassis, or something that pieces of a car built by just the photo company or museum.

It is no doubt based off a real car, but looks like a modified shell for photography purposes (hence the absence of mirrors, old wheels, and blocked off bits)

As for the car no idea, looks real with disk breaks, suspension. The mirrors would have been removed to stop bowlhead whippersnapper pulling them off
