Hey,

I recently launched LFS and upon doing so was prompted to update through patch 3 patches to get to Patch Y.

After allowing this to happen, it then took me to the demo mode of the game. After having to re-unlock it, I found that all of my data is missing and I no longer have any tracks other than GP and Rallycross (oh, and the carpark). Not only that, but all game settings had defaulted too.

Can anybody explain what might have happened, or better still provide instructions on what steps to take to revert back to my game data? I don't want to lose my replays or track times.

Any help is appreciated, cheers.

This is normal for certain patches.

Sounds like it's not unlocked properly.

If you went through 3 major patches, then I'd expect that, as over the last 3 or 4 the locations of files have changed, certain settings and changes of behaviour were introduced, and certain settings files have changed, which meant that the files needed to be "reset".

Your setups, colours, etc. can be saved using the tools outlined in this thread:

That said, using setups from a version of LFS that old is probably not worth it.
