I'd like to make a thread about this

I got a short term ban today, but after watching the replay I felt that this sanction was incorrect. So I filed an appeal and the ban got removed after all.

I really appreciate how the admins try their best to judge every report as good as they can. Mistakes do happen though, and that's exactly why I like this appeal option.

Thanks admins of CTRA for such a great way of handling this!

Hi, I thought it would be appropriate to ask this in this thread...

How do I appeal? I guess I don't understand the CTRA site too well. I've been given what I feel is a severe judgment, but rather than whinge here I'd like to use the appeal system.

How is it done? Is there a link on my report or something?

Unless something has changed that I missed, you can appeal by PMing do0f here on the forums.

I believe now there is a button in MY CTRA (www.raceauthority.com) to appeal. However in the vast majority of appeals the original penalty is upheld.

I did have a quick look, but the button isn't there for me

I will have to ask Sam again how they happen, I thought they were a little more automated than that =)

It is these days!

You can appeal an admin decision up to 7 days after a report has been processed. During that time the Appeal link is visible on reports that you look up, that are against you (you need to be logged in to MyCTRA). If you wish to appeal after that, you will need to PM do0f.
