My stereo headphones have a problem with this, no speakers...

btw, I am seeing this option in many other games.

+1 for this, shouldn't be too hard to c0de it. Ok, majority of us don't need it but those who needs will appreciate it...

Check your sound drivers, probably they have this option

Don' t need it myself, but can be very usefull for some people

Connect the inputs in around the other way? In the stereo is reversed in LFS, surely it will be from any other program too? As said, drivers should really be doing this anyway, if a hardware solution is not possible.
