If you'd like somewhere to practice or do some FO8 ovalling, the (FM) Oval Junkies 2 server has FO8s. They don't allow R2s, but no big deal. You can learn to race oval there, which is a critical skill.

Just as a note, the folks at FM have enabled R2 use on their FO8 oval server since the Kyoto 500 is R2s only. You are more than welcome to go there to get some racing practice in. Infact, for a lot of you, I highly recommend it. Racecraft is one thing that needs a lot of work, and it's what will get you through the 500 miles. Learn to work the draft, time your moves, and most of all, that patience.

So, join (FM) OvaL JuNkieS 2 for some great oval racing. FM guys will be glad to help you out, as will some of the other racers. Heck, you may even see me (attempting) to race there. Just be sure to follow their house rules.
