The code logic increases races entered on ISP_NPL except under certain conditions (MRJ) and increases finishes on ISP_RES in a race mode of type RACE where it is a validated finishing position not a P?.

It's fairly simple logic, it's suprising to see it fall over. Unless there was a temporary glitch once ( I seem to remember a temporary scenario when MRJ was no longer tracked as a race join ).
