2008. A good year

2008 will be a good year due to many things, not least of which will be the pruning of members on the LFS forums, these members, known as 'crackers', due to trying to crack the simulator, will be found out and banned. This can only be a good thing, as software piracy is at an all-time high rate, and any measures to counter the problem should be applauded. The reduction of spam by the moderators is also a good point of 2008, but again, it's an uphill battle with new demo racers constantly rehashing the same topics, and a certain section of S2-licensed racers constantly fighting with them, thus contributing to the spam. The moderators should take more pro-active stances towards it, also dealing with forum trolls
However, as a counter-point, there will be several bad things, not least including the increased use of cruise and drift servers, which is distracting the community by causing almost sectarian fights in the community, between the drift/cruise factions and the racers, there is also the underlying tension between G25 users and people who don't use/don't have a wheel, this again will be a bad point in 2008
