Funny, I switched to Piquet for Germany.
Finally enough $ for a decent chassis!

On to Hungaboring!

Another poor result for me, but surprisingly didn't drop any places.

The big news is the standings in the Subleague Competition are up. Go take a look see, tis good news

Gerrin' there

Although, since I bought the Ferrari chassis before Silverstone they have turned into a pair of diddies Should have saved myself 10M credits and went with McLaren and kept the change for a driver upgrade.......

Those who picked up Trulli a while back were inspired, he's been operating above his station for a good few races. Fair play!

Vettel is starting to look pretty handy in that Torro Rosso, but I fear for the Honda boys for the rest of the season.

Hey ho, average points haul but only one bet correct.....no changes for Hungary it seems

Good fun tho, fair enjoying the fantasy league
I'm seriously thinking of picking Vettel instead of Button

Or maybe wait one more race and go for Trulli or Rosberg

So difficult to take a decission about drivers... it's a hell of money

I've had Trulli all season since he was very cheap considering he finish around 7th or 8th (can't remember) in the WDC last year. I don't want to sell him, if i downgrade to a driver below it actually costs me money because he's gone up in price so much.

I'm really stuck what to buy - I normally have about mid everything so Toyota Chassis, Trulli, Sutil, Force India Engine, Mcl fuel. I'm not doing very well though I get <400 points each race.

I don't really want rid of Trulli though - he's ace and as soon as I sold him he'd be loads more to buy back.
I meant to change some stuff before the weekend there but I totally forgot. I don't even think I got to place my bets either. Bugger.
But then I only dropped 1 place in the subleague, so I guess it can't have been that bad. Made some changes this morning (a little bit late, but it's all good) so we'll see how the enxt race goes.

Good call with Trulli. I missed the boat on that one Theres no way I would sell him to finance other areas of the team.

if I were you, an STR engine would be high on the list of priorities then Vettel for Sutil maybe?

I downgraded Button -> Vettel a couple of races ago to finance a Ferrari chassis. I'd like to think SV is a dark horse for the remaining races

Honda is bound to get worse for the rest of the season. Their final major upgrade is going to be at Hungary (low down-force aero).

I jumped from Button to Vettel for Germany, and he's served very well indeed. My choice of Barrichello to Nakajima though, was a waste of money!

I get rid off of Honda chassis last week and moved to Toyota and I'm happy

But I'm yet stuck with Button and Barrichello... I have confidence in Barrichello doing a few nice races next weeks, but Button...
I just punched myself on the face. I, again, forgot to set the bets.

471 points for crying out aloud. Damn underperforming Weebre and the RBR. Having Buordias didn't help either...

At least there is a chance for the top 6 to win something
Bonus Question is up! The choice of answers narrows it down a bit.
Spoiler - click to revealWikipedia says: 1 point for Zsolt Baumgartner in the 2004 USA GP. I guess that's the right answer, or does anyone know better?

Quote from zeugnimod :Spoilers....

I think he's the first hungarian (apart from Mr Szisc) so i guess its right

Yeah, that seems right.
Yep it was 1 point, time to upgrade my team a bit!
I had just enough cash after the bonus to upgrade my fuel again

I have high hopes for this next race, with some serious upgrades (I had a few million saved). My drivers probably won't get me a huge score by themselves, but combined with the chassis and fuel upgrades I think I might even make some positive movement in the league this round.

Watch now as I crash and burn

Same here. McLaren and Toyota shouldn't be too bad. And Vettel and Button are always good for a top10 finish.

After jumping up 10 positions after the last race, I got my hopes up again.
Lucky you. I've done nothing but drop places since the round started. Last race I went down 2 spots, which I think is about the best so far. I'd be happy with a +1
Oh well the STRs let me down. But it wasn't bad actually, I'm being consistently over 500 points, but I'm sooooo far from the others. Let's see if I can change something this time...

Damn Ziggy got another 10 positions again! :smash3d:

edit: Germany results....
Quote from de Souza :Damn Ziggy got another 10 positions again! :smash3d:

FFS, you eejit, I was already happy about that.

Those are still the results from Germany, grrr.
Yeah I'm a noob, sorry... I thought it was faster to update.
My bets for the race were looking good with ham, kova ,massa as top 3, but it just wasn't to be I guess.

Waiting for the points to be updated now to see if my team manages to hang on to the lead. :throwrose
I added me up and got about 550 points - but I got like 5 bets right too - I guessed the poll, first to drop out and got all the ticky box ones right.
Site has been updated.

We're still at the top in the sub-league competition but our lead has been cut. It's getting tight now. {edit} no, my mistake, was looking at the wrong list. We've actually extended our lead

Not a great race for me, only scored 605pts but only slipped one place to 10th, and only got 2 bets correct. Not much cash for next race
