Technically you did the right thing. You aren't supposed to spectate after a flip until the marshals instruct you to do so.

It's up to the drivers approaching to slow down when they get the yellow and be aware that there may be trouble ahead.
Quote from Storm_Cloud :I doubt it was the wind, or maybe the wind was blowing just on my car?

It was affecting me everywhere. Up the home straight I usually grab 6th just before the road starts to rise before the turn, but in the race I was stuck in 5th whatever the fuel load. Then on the backstraight I couldn't even stay in the slipstream of cars that were lapping me, even other XRRs or FXRs. Also, there wasn't enough power to spin the wheels anywhere.

Sorry I didn't spectate quickly enough.

Maybe it is your throttle pedal that has stopped working 100%...?

I doubt it..I had exactly the same problem in my final stint, it was costing me 8/10ths a lap due to loss of power.
I had it in practice before the race. I realized I was downshifting too quickly into T1 and blew my engine a bit.

I'm blaming my teammates
I was careful about it while driving, because I know Sam was, seeing there's no way he could pass his pace off on anything but caution.

Marshalls missed when one of the cars flipped and immediately spectated.

Perhaps that team (and all others) needs to be warned against immediately spectating, perhaps have it in the rules?
It is in the rules but there is no penalty. It obviously shows a lack of knowledge in the rules however so it maybe does warrant a warning.
I did read the rules but running in 4 leagues all with different rulesets can get a tad confusing in the heat of the moment. Rest assured when I flip at KY I shall leave it where it is .

If showing a lack of knowledge in the rules warrants a penalty then there's plently in the blue flag debate should be getting one too .
The lack of knowledge doesn't explicitly neccessitate a pentalty.

A pentalty could be usefull in the future to ensure a flipped car causes the same result every time.

I doubt being in 4 series at the same time is legitimate for not knowing what to do, but hopefully you'll keep the rubber on the road next round.
Sweet, now I know we won't finish last. he's saying he's gonna flip.

Thx Storm_Cloud for taking the pressure off!

Well, technically he's promising to Did Not Finish, leaving the dubious distinction of finishing last to guys still...
