Would be a nice if we had an option to set a folder on our hard drive where all skins would be saved. That way, in future patches you could always point to that "skins" folder and only have one copy of the skins. Right now if you want to keep a backup of old patches, you need to keep the skins folder too unless you want to redownload the skins when you watch a replay. Having multiple copies of skins wastes space when you get enough of them.

Make a backup copy of your skins folder every now and then. That way you can just throw the skins in the new folder if you ever have to start with a fresh copy of LFS.
Well, that's kind of the problem. I don't want to have multiple copies floating around if I don't have to.

I have no problem with copying old skins into the new patch folder, its just that now I've got two copies of the exact same thing.

Put them on a rewritable CD/DVD, external harddrive, thumb drive.

This is also handy when used with the model viewer while skinning (saves the "copy to lfs dir" step and keeps all your files in one place, same version).

That's pretty sweet, I had no idea you could do that in Windows.

But then if I want to go watch a replay from an old patch I have to copy them all back over.
