Bad example?
Well i've just started watching wheeler dealers and Mike Brewer has being test driving an MX5 and at one point he drifted round some courners and a rounderbout. Should that have been broadcast on public tv. It ws on public roads in the UK he was speeding and drifitng.
Unless you actually seen civilian cars on the road, they would have most likely have had the road closed. Other wise, people that watch top gear would say its a bad example when the presenters driver side by side with the camera car and then gently roll back again.
hi Luke :P

Well i've never seen them do it on wheeler dealers, but i dont watch all the episodes. Besides, its just a TV program. There are worse things on TV than someone suposedly speeding/drifting.

(Afaik) It's common practice for car reviews to take place on public roads, e.g. some B-roads that don't see much traffic. Couple of spotters at the right junctions and off you go. Nothing to get alarmed about, imo.
Driving an MX5 is a very bad example to be setting, someone might actually buy one because of his wreckless actions.
I don't like Wheeler dealers
