Lucky Dog?
Are you going to add the lucky dog rule? Where the first car that's a lapped down gets one of its lap back when there's a caution
I dislike this rule, as it is too unfair, that a lapped driver is allowed to gain ground on the racers infront of him... If a lucky dog rule is implemented, it shall be the F1-like. All lapped cars are allowed to overtake the pace car, and sort in behind the last car which is in the correct car order.
I see no issue with allowing racing back to the line when caution is called. Then the order at the line is taken.

Maybe because if there is a caution it generally means that something on the track is causing safety concerns. If a full course caution is out then it doesn't make sense to have racing continue. Sorry for not knowing too much about Oval racing, although I am just voicing an opinion to the post above

I disagree that it's unfair generally but I will agree that it's unfair on road courses (which is why they dont allow it in road course racing).

The main reason why I disagree that the lucky dog in unfair on ovals is because ovals are too exclusive in terms of cars being lapped.

That wont be a problem in LFS, but it will be a problem in real life.
Actually, since it's easier to get lapped on ovals than road courses. The rule should be that it'll be easier to get a lap back than road courses.

A lucky dog rule would also increase the competibility of the field and also give the lapped cars an incentive to drive hard. This rule overall brings a bigger sense of competitiveness (which is what an oval is all about really) and should be implemented.
