The online racing simulator
Pretty much every IMSA GTP race is available on DVD. I have about 25-35 races. Pretty cool stuff. Last thursday I got a live broadcast of the '93 Sebring 12 Hours.

All those races are available to trade over at the trading forum: http://www.dag-nabit.com/trading/forum/index.php
Quote from greg_slideways :They arnt on, ONLY for racing, They are a car/ Automotive channel, Racing isnt the only thing being covered...Two guys garage...Unique Autosports(Been there great guys and shop)...It is more of all things to do with cars or things that drive, Look at two wheel tuesday that has shows that cover info from builders...ect! (:shrug Y...Y does alot of people think its only for racing, or only should be, I dissagree I love to learn how to change a part on the car, Like in two guys garage! ...Just my 2 cents

People are throwing a fit because Speed used to be all about racing. Anytime you turned that channel on in the 90s you were guaranteed a good race. It's kind of like what happened to MTV, started off playing music, now plays virtually none. Hopefully Speed2 will pop up and give us back our racing channel...
Quote from deggis :Bump... that Brightcove.tv service has been put off air some months ago, I assume the videos are still hosted somewhere but not viewable from the site anymore.

But look what I found: http://www.vimeo.com/user1286095/videos

Also I'd add this: CBS News special from 1988 Le Mans

Nice finds!

Eew, I don't want a SPEED2, MTV2 is just as bad as MTV now. I want my Speedvision!
Altough I noticed the ALMS logo on some of the videos, but I didn't notice that the Vimeo profile page links to grandtouringprototype.com which seems to be a site set up by speedtv.com's Marshall Pruett.

Also there's an easy way to download videos from vimeo.com. At least if you're using Firefox. You need that, FlashGet download manager (maybe some other one will do too) and FlashGot extension. When you start playing the video, simply right mouse click -> FlashGot Media. It downloads the original file which is either .flv or .mp4.
