Quote from The General Lee :I have been out today, so I am currently wearing...

These jeans - £65
This t-shirt - £25

The jeans fit me really well and don't actually look as "gay" as they do in the image.

bloody hell £65 for jeans and £25 fo a shirt

is it 100% cotton if not my friend you have been conned. mind u this shirt i'm wearing now was £20 for bhs but is 100% cotton. and my jenas are my dads old ones that he never wore for 10 years and i have an nfl top atleast 14 years old.
LOL...

You ask about well know brands, then when one is put infront of you, you tell me unless it is 100% cotton, I have been conned??

Yes, it is 100% cotton.
I haven't bought a new pair of jeans or shorts for years, the ones I already have are so sturdy I can't see them ever dying.

I'm a t-shirt addict, always buying shirts from Threadless because they're so damn cheap!

Shoes are always <£30, because I wear through them quickly.

It was a shock when I had to buy a suit, £150 seems so much to spend on two bits of fabric.

I spent a shedload on shoes because my feet are screwed up in at least 3 ways per foot.
i always have to have 1 shoe size too big cause my feet are so bliddy wide.
I spend crazy money on shoes too. And the style I have, is NEVER the style I want. My feet are a size 13 and just as wide...
Shoes are the only thing I truely care about to look "good".

well i'm catching you at 13 i'm already in size 12
If they look good, and they are knock offs,...ahh who cares im buying it!
My favorite shoe at the mo is rebok classics. I have a pair and they are brilliantly comfy.
I have those Geox shoes, they're pretty good, but after a year the effect starts to fade.
I have feet trouble too, my achillis is too short in my left foot. Which makes it hurt like hell after a day of walking or after sports. I'm fat because I can't do sports and it hurts cause I'm too fat
I'm a heterosexual male, and therefore I don't care.
I'm a heterosexual male who enjoys the company of heterosexual women, so I do care

To an extent anyway - I went with the middle option.
Got to laugh at this...you can tell most LFS players don't get their leg over that often.....

Well put, sir!
Not to be snobby but i personally wouldn't be caught dead in anything made by george, tesco etc.

Plus i just bought some henry lloyd jeans from loofes and they were £50, £15 cheaper than them asda crap, have a brand your not ashamed to wear, and they're no way near as gay!

Some aren't that bad, actually.

You want bad? Theres a shop called "Republic" which will happily kit me out with £60 shorts and £30 shirts simply to make me look like some looser hobo who is always on the beach.
Jack, isn't it called "Banana Republic"?

Not that I know...

I Kidd! I Kidd!

But I guess Thats it cuz, google(My Freind) Told me its that!
Nah, I've been to malls before, and it just clicked in my head, becuase what kind of wanker would name their shop "Republic".

I worked for ~10 years in the clothing industry. My clients were everybody from Babygro to Wrangler, from Courtalds to Umbro. Anyone who buys branded clothing for the name either has more money than sense (no matter how little money they have) or is hanging out with the wrong crowd.
I buy stuff from wal-mart all the time, I got no problem with it, I ussaly only buy brand name if its on sale, I buy look-alike stuff all the time, Becuase it still looks good!

I prefer stuff from Walmart. NOT from ASDA (Walmart in the UK) because it's crappily made. Clothes bought in the US are 10x better quality per $ than from the UK. It's a sad fact that they succeeded in getting us used to buying utter shit in the UK. We've forgotten what decent quality materials are. I just get care packages sent over from Chicago these days, if I need new clothes.
Clothes are Clothes everywhere, the same quality tough. Armani can have the same quality for jeans (<- is that right? :schwitzSmile. Here in Mexico there's the factory of Levi's and Armani for those type of clothing, because its very cheap the salary they give. When they put the brand name onto the clothes it increases dramatically the prize, like 300dls. But there in the town where the factory is located, you can buy Armani at 10dls, stuff that the company didnt wanted because 1 line was wrong or extremely small details went wrong, so that's how the clothes industry works huh... money doesnt buy intelligence Razz
