1. improved grip for stock cars like XRT and etc. because you can start sliding on 60 kph easy... in reality its hard to do that with out any brake i dont know how XRT handles on Y patch but the XFG handles alomost the same as in X10 and about the GTR car i cant say anything... because i never drove them

2. blow over capbility.. .but ithink that olny the BF1 could be able to do that because i saw a fwew videos of the BF1 going 330+

Tnx for attension

Sorry for my mistakes in spelling
First im sure you never drove car like xrt so you can't tell this . It's fine as it is and learn auto physics before posting this crap. He is from same country and people here can't do anything but drifting(look at his nick) in race servers they tend to drive slowly, wreck and block and most of em say "sorry for bad speech" in every forum ...doh
Nothing like patriotism, eh?

In response to the actual suggestion relating to the XRT, I wonder why no experienced users believe this to be necessary? One to ponder, I'm sure. Oh, and 'suggesting' "improved grip for stock cars" seems somewhat ridiculous when you have no experience with the majority of said cars.

All I can say is that you cannot reasonably ask for improvements to the game when you're deliberately running an older version so you can keep 'your' car, such that no improvements would be granted to you anyway.

And if it does have too little grip, the solution is not to crank up the grip level value like most game developers would do, but to find out the exact reason why it's wrong, fix it at the physics engine level, and test that it works. Thus suggesting something like that without any ideas or arguments to back it up with would not result anything.

And what is a blow over capability?
flipping over going over a hill like the straight on BL1

The cars have fine grip imo

You don't drive the same way in game as you do irl, and the setups are really different

also, irl most cars nowadays are set up to understeer from the factory

The game can feel a bit drifty (not the ballet in cars type) through the turns in the slow cars, but its more like you're just floating it through. If you've not felt that in a real car, either you're not experienced enough to put the car right on the edge of oversteer, or you've never had the chance to. Also, have you even floored it in a car and started swerving? I haven't...I like to be nice to my cars, but I'd imagine you'd slide around a bit.

Even the grippiest of tires can slide if you are rough enough. If you're smooth and build up to the limit you'll go much faster than you'd be able to than if you jerk the wheel as hard as you can.

The road tyres in LFS have far more grip than the sort of types that appear on most road cars. The grip is fine.

A great example is my crappy Nissan pulsar commute car. It does not matter how I balance the car I cant get more than 46Km/h before the tyres start to give going 3/4 of the way around full size roundabout.

Watch your replays, you might be too heavy with your right foot and that causes you step outside of the circle of grip.
if my nick name is Drifter it doesent mean that i drift 24/7 a good clean race with out any crashers i enjoi even more than drifting . iknow how A go cart handalles and its limits and i can surly say that a car handes even better than a go kart , because i dont miss a chance when i can to sit next to my father in a real race car or a rally car (he had them both)
So you haven't drove stock car to the grip limit?
on stock stock car i olny know the line where the tires deformate but the line where it starts to slide i dont know
Right... Why did you made this topic?
Quote from OP :know how A go cart handalles and its limits and i can surly say that a car handes even better than a go kart

...I wonder why single-seaters, which are closer in design theory to go-karts with bodywork than anything else, are much faster than road cars?

Basically, you have no first-hand experience of road cars in real life, and precious little in LFS either. You even start to compare go karts to race cars when you're talking about road cars in your original post... So your 'suggestion' really is somewhat unfounded

Sam
There has been a few posts where people are asking for things or think something should be like this but have no real idea of the reality.

The clutch smoke is a classic example, no idea of what really happens but have an idea of what they think it should be like.

Plenty of time driving the car and tweaking the setups can normally sort out the worst of what people think is a lack of grip as well as being much more progressive on the throttle, not just stamping on it.
