aww...didnt see the new haircut of kimi.
What are the results?
Yerrr, proper music on the podium once again.

Whitmarchcsh or whoever said it seemed like the rim on Kovalainen's car failed, he was not sure though.
FORZA FERRARI

Good race for Hamilton. I´d like to see Bourdais in action, he always come across with a noob and crash
Quote from AstroBoy :What are the results?

1. Raikkönen
2. Massa
3. Hamilton
4. Kubica
5. Webber
6. Button
7. Nakajima
8. Trulli

VERY bad for my F1 manager game team. :S
cheers mate. Good to see webber where he should be. At the pointy end of the field.
great to see Button scoring some points.
fantastic driving by him.
unlucky for Alonso.
Good work for Webber getting 5th. Heidfeld was fast, pity he mis-timed his refuelling and ended up last after the penalty. Piquet Jr was pretty unlucky there, I was expecting him to pull off a 6th or 7th.
I'm satisfied with the results
Quote from Alkanphel :Piquet Jr was pretty unlucky there, I was expecting him to pull off a 6th or 7th.

Not unlucky at all IMO. Was his own fault.
What do you mean his own fault? Too high RPM's? Downshifting too much?

Anyways, I'm glad Hamilton got 3rd Ferrari's are crazy O_O
I think Bordais didn't even see Piquet there... It was a crazy dive anyways
Quote from evilpimp :What do you mean his own fault? Too high RPM's? Downshifting too much?

First, he braked too late, went into the gravel and lost several positions.

Then, he made a stupid dive on Bourdais which ended his race.

What does this have to do with high RPM's or downshifting?
OOOPS! O_O Confused, was thinking about Alonso for some reason. :S Sry

Yes, Alonso was indeed unlucky. He probably would have been 5th if he had finished.
Lets hope next years regulations allow the cars to actually follow each other through a corner. We might get a race at Barcelona then.

Delighted to see the spoiled Spanish brat blow an engine.

Great results for Webber and Button.

Wouldn't it just be easier and cheaper to not run at Barcelona? I could hold a better race at my backyard in January

BTW lol @ Keke Rosberg... "Konstruktöörit"
Quote from zeugnimod :Then, he made a stupid dive on Bourdais which ended his race.

when bourdais turned into him he was fully alongside sebastien... how much more overlap is he supposed to achieve to have a right for the inside line?

There needs to be a major rethink on the design of the cars. Cars can't follow, but when they are close enough to make a move the driver in front can't see them
Any official news about Kovalainen yet btw?
Quote from Jertje :Any official news about Kovalainen yet btw?

He has 'banged his elbow, hit his head and has a little concussion.....and no serious injuries'

According to Mr Dennis post-race.

But nothing more yet.

The new aero rules and slicks should help everywhere, and that monstrosity of a circuit is locked in with a rather long contract, which will look silly when Alonsomania dies out.
Don't get your hopes up. F1 has always been pretty dull... next year won't be too different. I happen to agree with Brundle that the aero guys will claw back some of the lost downforce...

To improve overtaking you would have to take away everything that makes an F1 car fast enough to be classed as F1. It's a catch 22.
