Quote from Juls :Today I wanted to use the LX4/LX6 online. Unfortunately there is no server with a proper combo. So I chose a server allowing all cars...it seemed to me such a server is a place where people can use any car.

Haha, what a mistake...as soon as I took LX6 I was banned. All this is boring. When I have network lag, other people think I am drifting and ban me. When I lose control (on a training server, not even in a race)...they think I am a wrecker and ban me because one guy had to brake a bit to avoid me. When I chose a different car and stay behind just to learn better to keep my distance and drive cleanly they ban me without any warning message. Why do they allow it then?

Please improve again AI so that I do not have to play online anymore.

You just happened upon a very bad server. Not all of them are like that.
And not all licensed racers are as talented as some demo-users. I have leaned one thing about demo-users who have participated to S2 Voucher Competition: They are very talented! They can drive faster than most of the licensed racers. Okay, maybe because they only have three cars and 2 tracks, they are good with these (3^2)-1 possibilities (-1 because I don't count FBM @ BL2). But still.
Quote from Becky Rose :The problem isnt damage, you should be able to complete an entire race without crashing or your just not good enough. From experience, drivers who dont crash at T1 dont crash because they are safe. Drivers who where "wrecked by someone" are not safe.

I have had the odd accident at T1, and even made the odd mistake myself, but put me on a server full of new LFS drivers and i'm more likely to survive T1 than somebody who blames the server for their being wrecked.

Brake softly. Brake early. Be predictable.

Sorry but I'm going to have disagree with you here. The main problem as I see it, is that in RACE 1 at least people just go for broke a lot of the time and make no adjustment for the fact that there are maybe 2 - 3 rows of cars in front of them entering the turn. People rigidly stick to their lines/entry speed/brake points no matter what. I've lost count of the amount of times I've had space to either side going in to a turn (usually T1) only to have someone behind me just take me out because they are quicker through the turn, (or think they are anyway). It really is remeniscent of the Demo servers to be honest, as is the attitude of a lot of the drivers on RACE 1. I've all but given up trying to gain my Bronze, (which I need to drive the UF-BR which I really want to drive), and stick pretty much entirely to the single seaters because of it.

Same reason for me to obtain the bronze. One certain way to gain points is to join after the start (But before the green light) so you will start from the last grid. Drive slowly and pass everyone who crashed on T1.

Since then I made Bronze.

Keep going - it can be done and it's worth the struggle!

EDIT: Just had a quick look at your stats - you're already half way there, don't stop now!
I'm consistently 2 seconds off the lap records in Race 1 (which are always set by higher license racers), so I'm not bad. I've raced in the LFS BC pretty much without incident (apart from that hilarious accident in round 1 where I managed to roll a XFG on the last corner with no-one around me - see the movie )

So I'm pretty quick (for my license level anyway), and I can race with others without wrecking them. Yet I cannot seem to get through a single race in Race 1 without being spun out. It normally happens when I overtake someone on the inside, and they spin me out on the next corner. I really want to progress to the next level, both to escape this noobiness, and to drive on more tracks/cars. But it's catch 22, I can't progress without racing cleaner drivers, and I can't race cleaner drivers without progressing.

It's not so much the higher licensed users that annoys me any more, it's the complete and utter disregard for racing etiquette/rules. I don't see how or why I should personally have to report several drivers every race, as I want to race, not report...

So please, CTRA, un-pimp Race 1!
Same problem in Bump & Jump. 10% knows the rules, 20% doesn't and 70% don't care!

+1 for another BnJ for red roof and above.
