Well, i havent seen in insim.txt a chance of forcing Shift + F or a packet informing about it ... It will be nice to see it there

It would be a very nice server option IMO for proper racing (minimap? NFS!), so it's a +1 from me

and then I can't see the virtual-meters. I don't want to use cockpit-view, because then I would see two cockpits (IRL and on my monitor. That if something looks silly).

If you lower your FOV and move the head position forwards, you can just about remove the dash from the screen.
