Kolz, I think the 2nd replay you posted is the same as the 1st one.

Can you tell us what lap the 02/29 incident was on?
It was 43 for me i believe, 44 for him. Out of the chicane I kept my right side on the white line, never moving as he drafted by.

Before he completed the pass he decided to chop me unfortunately.

On the straightaway, never changing line, the whole rest of the track available. Unfortunate impatience really.
That's also what it looked like to us, but we're willing to have another look. Thanks for the info.
We'll have a look at it after the race because we're having a hard time locating it in the replay right now. I don't think laps 43/44 are correct.

If we were in error with the penalty we'll give the #29 a certain amount of time back, which may change the race results.

Thats the wrong replay, tell me the teams names and will look around about the lap it happened on but the only one i can see around lap 42/44 is between car 34 and 02 which has been looked at.
Whats the deal with the Admin chats

Pressing the wrong button because he has 2 lfses open, same as me when i did it when looking into replays and was on the wrong window.

they're juggling two instances of LFS, one for replay and one for the actual race. sometimes the two get confused.

Quote from DeadWolfBones :Really sorry about that, Franke. To be honest we really didn't consider the circumstances when we handed the penalty out. It gets to be automatic with chat penalties: you see the chat, you give the DT. This is something we can definitely be more flexible with, though, and in the future we'll assess the situation before delivering the penalty.

However, had you stayed in the race (waited for the PC) and then made this post there's a good chance we would have found a way to give you back some of the lost time. I realize you were frustrated, but you should never give up.

Again, sorry.

The chat was made by:

07 D.Furey

the penalty was given to:

07 F.Sonne

There is a 07 D.Furey connected, then about 1-4 seconds, then a "Good race" chat message (He was trying to press Shift+F4) as his window was not maximized... When i got the penalty i pressed H to se if there had been a message, and it was not even there anymore, so i was wondering why i got it...

Took you 2 minutes to give me the penalty, and you want to tell me that its automatic? Not even a second was used to check the log?

I accidently pressed PL instead of TS button, to tell that i was not able to pit... What could you have done to that, i was not even supposed to be in the car at that time, there is no way this could have been rectified during the race... NO WAY...

At the time when i was waiting for the push car i had done 2 laps on 2.8% fuel, lost 2 or 3 laps, and would have to wait 1 or 2 more laps to be pushed into the pits, on top of that i had done 1 DT AND 1 SG penalty, and would have to do the pitstop that was intended...

I WAS in 9th or 10th when i was to pit, when i was waiting for the PC i was in 24th i think...

So give up... Not really, admitting that we were hopelessly lost in the race... THAT would be a more appropriate assesment of our situation...

This is not meant to be a bashing of the job you do, but merely a wakeup call to whoever gave that penalty, THIS should not happen again, as this was a total race wrecker... Other than this you admins do a great job of handling incidents during races, but in this case a bit to fast on the trigger...

MY oppinion on chat related penalties, for this not to happen again... DO NOT HAND OUT A PENALTY TO SOMEONE THAT DIDN'T DO THE CRIME, wait for the offender to get in the car, THEN penalize him... Or at lease wait 1 or 2 laps handing out penalties...

The precedent has kind of been set already. I accidentally hit the F1 "" as I was leaving after a driver change, my team was penalized.

Anywho, you've got 3 laps to serve the pentalty, but it might not let you once you enter pit lane.

Bummer either way.

Heads Up: A stop go penalty has been handed to 14 D.Lind twice now, however he only stopped the once, and his penalty vanished.
Agreed, in the future we need to be more careful about how we hand out those penalties.

There's nothing between those laps even looked between lap 39/47 but still nothing.
hmm... Wait!

I took back over the car after the 2 hour mark. Therefore it must have been lap 49-54 I believe.

No, he got the SG twice because he didn't stop long enough the first time. He served it properly.
Event Complete! great race dudes! Gratz to CoRe

Thats better i found it, was #29 faults he did not leave enough room for both of you and you was over to the right as per normal, #29 got to close then started to hit your side plus lag = trips to the wall.

Deeply sorry about that - had 2xLFS running, with the replay running on one, and mixed up those two a couple of times.

No, I just met the wrong guy at the wrong place of a race track.

Happens start of my lap 54, your 53. Looks like lag did it job as well as a minor contact had me blown into the walls. I might be mistaken, but allow me a comment to your driver: I´ve overtaken a lot of blue flagged FZR´s. And even with my engine damage racing they all backed-off and were very cooperating and wouldn´t put me in any danger. Tell me this driver wasn´t about to repass me and I rest my case.

To the admins. At least a decision " racing accident " would have been acceptable. Giving us a SG for it is, once more, is a hard decision against TDRT. And please have a look at the other posted " race incident at SC race restart ( replay ).

MprEdit cuts lap 53/54 it wrong here. So admins please have another look at it some time.

TDRT car #29

Sorry friend. I was on the main straight driving in a straight line, not defending position at all. You had a draft and were going to clear me easily. I actually was planning on braking early for T1. Your clipping down on me was just baffling as it was on the straight, and you weren't clear (past me).

It wasn't a racing incident, as it was completely avoidable.
#2 was driving entirely correctly in that instance. While it is up to the lapped car to give proper room while being lapped, it is also up to the lapping car to pass safely--this the #29 did not do. The #29 had the entire width of the track to use and chose to brush side to side with the #2.

Pretty open and shut case IMO.
