Bad Driving Incorporated
I cleaned up my MPRs lately, but before deleting them, I decided to capture the interesting stuff from all the replays to make a video out of it. The resulting video consists of many crashes and accidents, but there are also some scenes which I thought are funny or show good driving.

Default quality version: (Ogg Theora)
http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=6MGPCC2G

(Theora Video Codec is required to play this video, you can get it here: http://www.theora.org/downloads/, or here (a direct link to the codec package): http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/oggcodecs_0.71.0946.exe.)

No quality version: (Flash)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypKRz9pHiyw

Please note that the purpose of this video is not to blame, it's just a fun video.
Apocalypse Now, eh?
Where do you drive? Because I need to stay far away from there.

Nice video

Edit - Excellent video!
All of those footages seem to come from CTRA. I might be wrong but the driving skills in this video can only be from CTRA. :P

CTRA = Crash Them RAcers...

Ok, not the best dis ever but that was defiantly CTRA.
Nice video, this video is about SOMETHING a that's great...
7/10
Yep, you see such action on CTRA every day Good video.
Yes, I think all of this happened on the CTRA servers. And there was enough footage in the MPRs to make this video 20 minutes long. Sometimes there's just a very bad attitude on their servers :ouch:
I have problem with HQ version. I've installed codecs from first post, but everytime i try to launch video, every program crashes.
Any ideas please?
Nice, good to see custom cameras there, I like the idiot cam.

Thats strange, the codec worked fine for me with Windows Media Player 9, not even a reboot was required. Which video player(s) did you try?

Well maybe it was not such a great idea to use Theora, which is still a "work in progress" codec. I'll make another HQ upload using the XVid Codec (this will take a little while though)

I tried MPC, VLC, Winamp, WMP11, none of them working. Reboot didn't help. I just want to figure out, where's problem, because i want to see my 204 downloaded MB's.

EDIT: watched YT version meanwhile and it's very nice, what's the name of song btw.?
I think at least VLC should be able to play Theora videos, even without the codec.

The only thing i can imagine is that the video file got corrupted during the upload/download. Can you give me the sha1sum of the video file? You can find the sha1sum tool here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sha1sum, if you look under "External Links" theres a Windows version of the tool.

If you never used sha1sum before:
-Copy the sha1sum.exe into the same folder where the video file is.
-Open a dos box and navigate to the directory where both files are located.
-Type "sha1sum.exe bad_driving_inc.ogg"

After a while it will output a string, which should be exactly:

0e14b8bb525c47e072de28c6dcf3f65148cc21f6

If the string you get shows any difference, then something went wrong during the download.

Edit:
The songs name is "Drink a pint of blood a day". The band is called Milhaven, they release all their music for free on the internet.
I did like the style of the video, it's somehow diferent and it just shows how lfs can be sometimes. So, extra point for reality.
