Round 7 takes us to Japan for the Grand Prix at Kyoto GP Long.

A smooth Round 6, allbeit unfortunately with low attendance. Hoping to get more, perhaps by way of inviting a few teams in now to join us.

To help people get some decent practice in prior to the round, and to let everyone get some experience with each other, and to make sure people have practiced the combo before the day of the race. To this end, I'd like to hold a Free Practice during the weekend or week before the round (and for each round after) which will be MANDATORY for anyone who is going to be, or might be on for the actual race. Team Managers would be able to use this to help select their runners for the round, etc. Comments welcome on this.

On the FRO|FormulaRacing|1GP server, I have the layout for the race. It includes chalk lines to mark split locations, as well as chalk lines to completely define the pit exit line (to solid the line, instead of it being dashed.)

Please, would team managers indicate here who their two primary drivers will be for the event. The deadline for provisional entries is Thursday prior to the race, at 11:00 p.m. GMT (midnight BST).

Feel free to offer up any comments and such in this thread. Oh yeah, and talk about what you think Round 7 will be like.

Currently received confirmations from Sonicrealms, via PM.

I have included 6 other lines in the list, to serve as placeholders for the teams which I feel are currently still intending to participate in the oneGP F1 World Series. This is not to say that other teams who have participated in oneGP events and are listed on the oneGP forum are not welcome, it is to say that these are the four teams that I see are active and remain with the oneGP F1 World Series.

Based on this, we can see that there are spaces for 6 more teams, to make the ten-team field. I don't expect to fill these by this weekend's round, but if anyone has any connections to a well-establised team with a strong BF1 presence, please do not hesitate to contact them on my behalf and invite them to join oneGP F1 World Series by contacting me via PM with intent to join.

Feel free to PM me or post in here any comments you've got, as well.

Iv never driven this combo before a few laps last night. Some comments regarding racing here in BF1:

- The extremely fast chicane that exits the oval portion of the track seems like it could be cut easily over the exit (right hand side over the sand). Could cutting constitute a penalty here in race? Its a difficult corner to commit to. The linear sleeping policeman do a good job on the inside, I feel they should be on outside also but guessing this is a track model issue that cant be rectified without Scawen.

- I suppose the same question to a lesser extent applies to the first portion of the T1 also where using the rumbles and grasscrete can save alot of time.

- Can Scawen please model some nice R5s for FRO
