I always wondered if their fingers ever "pop off" under all the weight. I mean, how can such small things support the tension between the arms pulling up, and the weight of the weights and gravity pulling down. Ecspecially in the strong man events where they lift 500kg+ sometimes.

He should of dropped it the moment it went that far behind him, terrible if you watch the videos, the commentators don't want to see it yet they show like 4 bloody angles in slow motion.
