Hotlap Rankings (on LFS Desktop) are a great thing, for everyone NOT having good internet connection or for offline competition.
It's great too, that the first 3 of MHR, Nutter and Most WR holder get a small symbol next to their name, showing their "special achievements".
My suggestion is also to honor all 1st place holder for each car ranking. This would motivate more people to go for that medal and increase competition.
