Basicly I have some cheap assed 4gb mp4 player, and been smart a few months ago I dropped it in a puddle, now since then It will NEVER turn off, it plugs in to the computer and such fine, but ALWAYS thinks its charging, thus draining the battery to oblivion.

Is there anyway to fix water damage like this? even if it involves taking it apart? (The garuntee is pritty flumpt since Ive taken the front cover off)#

try putting it in rice.

open it and clean in behind the socket with a spraycan of electrical contact cleaner.

...or you could just go out and buy a new cheap-ass 4gb mp4 player
