Problem with Debian - Mono - LFSLapper
Hello racers!

I have a big problem with Mono on a Debian (Etch) Server.

I have installed Mono (Stable 1.0) and want to use LFSLapper.

When i try to start LFSLapper i get the following error message.

The assembly mscorlib.dll was not found or could not be loaded.
It should have been installed in the `/usr/lib/mono/2.0/mscorlib.dll' directory.

It looks like that 2.0 of Mono is needed!?

I have installed Mono with the internal Update tool of Debian.
I have no clue how to install the 2.0 Version because it is not listed within the Update Tool.

Please can you tell me which Version of Mono is needed on a Debian Server and where i can download it?

Many many thanks in advance!!!
That file is included in the libmono-corlib2.0-cil package.

You might be interested in looking at the package contents search engine on packages.debian.org. Same also goes for packages.ubuntu.com
Thank you for reply. I will try it
Thanks for your hint, it works

But there is still a little problem.

I'm connecting via Putty to my Linux Server.
Starting LFSLapper...works
But when i close Putty, LFSLapper turns off

Please can you tell me how to change it?

As always....thanks in advance for help

Either run it within a screen session or use nohup

man screen (i.e. nohup path/to/program &)
man nohup (i.e. start a screen session and start the program normally, disconnecting will just disconnect you from the screen session, which you can reconnect to at a later date)
Tank you very much!

For others who don't know how to start LFSLapper...

screen -d -m mono /path/to/LFSLapper.exe ../cfg/LFSLapper.lpr
