Despite how weird it is, I don't think it can be done. When the texture is applied, LFS darkens it. I tried applying a bright pink tyre texture, but it just came out really really really dark pink. You wouldn't know it had any pink at all unless you went right up close to it

Can't you just use photoshop/GIMP and change the hue of the tires?
