can anyone tell me how i can download layout files with firefox
it will download them and save them on the download list but will not let me place them in the correct folder

note: i had internet explorer but antivirus09 cept loging me out and blocking everything so i had to swich to firefox

Go to C/users/ur name/downloads (in vista), or c/users/ur name/my documents/downloads (i think) in xp, and copy it from there?

Click on Extra and go to Options. Go to the general tab, there is a section called 'downloads' make sure the option that has a red square around it on the image I set as attachment is checked.



EDIT; I use Firefox 2 (in dutch), I don't know how it is in FF3 but i assume its the same.

Or just look where the thing above it says - thats where its saved

Just to the top of your window (The second from the right, after help)
There then options
Then misc or so (the first from the left)

FF3 downloads to the same default place as FF2 (Desktop) unless you have changed the settings. Its probably an idea to check My Docs too. If you still can't find your downloads use the windows search and look for the extension on "my computer", all files of that type should be found. It may take a while to find them all but its going to find EVERYTHING!
