Xbox are currently Updating xbox live and are down for maintenance for 24 hours, iv heard to many rumors for what the update is gonna be does anyone know?

iv heard that they "might" be putting a internet browser on there
most likely one i heard was that they are making the dashboard better

They are slowly updating it, they already have put a feature in so you can watch TV if you have BT Vision and I have also heard they are putting a browser on the 360 in the future, don't know if it will be this update, I haven't updated mine for a while as I haven't played it in months. When they have finished updating the 360 is will be better then the PS3, they new 360 that will be coming out will have a blu-ray drive or they are making a external blu-ray drive for the 360. It wont bother me if they dont put the browser in because as soon as I get my room sorted the Xbox will use my PC monitor so I will have the internet right next to my Xbox, would be nice for the xbox to have the internet(Browser)

They're not doing anything front-end this update so you won't see any changes when it's back up. They're currently updating the back-end to support the new stuff, which is due to go live in November.

I think I did the right thing getting a new 12 month subscription and HD TV instead of buying a PS3. The list of games coming out in the future for the 360, combined with the new Xbox Live features that are on their way should put it further ahead of the PS3.

Oh and a quick game tip for you 360 people, buy Pure, it's loads of fun.

well the last time xbox was down they gave us a Free arcade Game :o

The arcade games are rubbish anyway, they cost too much and are often worse than free flash games you can get on the internet.

Try playing Braid. AWESOME puzzle platformer. I'm also playing psychonauts atm (i know its off the original xbox but i never had it on that console..)

Riight Try playing Wipeout HD, then tell me that again Also, you do know what are the PS exclusives, i bought the PS3 just for them.. The lineup is just too awesome.. Next month Little Big Planet, Motorstorm 2 (Pure is cool, but physics are just way too simple), Killzone 2 right on the corner, Heavy Rain (read something about it, it's fantastic), GOW 3 (one of the main reasons for bying the PS3) will also be somewhere in 2009, then the next game from Team ICO, some super-secret PS3 game which left some BBC reporter speachless and he can't say the name, but from the description it sounds awesome, then Uncharted 2 also probably in 2009 (the first part is mind blowingly good)...

This time i think they are giving gold members six yes i said six xbox originals for free. This is the foundations for the mega updates. Oh and the GTA IV content should be here soon.

Another Person has told me the Private chat is getting updated so 3 people can be in 1 chat, Very Helpful but if they do why just make a three-some Chat, Make a Four-Some Private Chat

That's the thing, the PS3 exclusive games don't interest me as much as the xbox exclusive games and content. So I am probably going to wait until Christmas or next year before I decide if I will buy one or not. As for the BBC reporter being left speechless, well that happened a lot with Spore, and that turned out to be quite poor.

Little Big Planet, alone, was enough reason for me to buy a PS3, it's just way too awesome (check that thread i made, i will post videos of some awesome levels created in Beta version), Killzone 2, really the next gen shooter, God of War 3 will just destroy everything once it comes out , Heavy Rain, another awesome concept, from the creators of Farenhait a.k.a Indigo Prophecy, Wipeout HD (already out), Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted series, Ratchet and Clank series, the next-gen Twisted Metal... etc..

The xbox circle still hasn't got a i-net Browser? I can view this thread on my PS3!
