Always a pleasure to find good posts in these forums (and I must say it is more and more becoming a surprise as well...).
Your tutorial is well written and documented, it makes me want to check this Python thing - there is a huge programming gap in my amateur carrier (started with basic and stopped at Pascal, Delphi...), and C++ code does not feel straightforward enough for me to spend time to learn.
