Hi All

I have seen this in some of the servers as a MOD however, Its like a little time box that comes up on the left hand side of your screen. I think in the next version that perhaps for the bigger tracks, we should be able to open a little dialog box and choose what we want sorted in the pits.

For example; say we are hammering down the backstraight on blackwood, we can open up or dialog box and select which tires we want to have on the next pit stop.. a bit like Team Radio but we can sort it out ourselves.

Our car maybe damaged a little bit, but that little bit isn't effecting the performance of our car however the pit still insists of sorting it.

Currently; If we want to change tire type mid race, we have to do Shift + P which looses all our race progress.

Sorry - I'm not the best at explaining things.

We already have that feature - try pressing f12!

The title of your thread isn't a bad idea, though. But we'd need pit crews first.

EDIT: The poll says 'Pit box'? If you mean that, no. Typo?

The problem with f12 is that if you change anything besides the fuel it repairs your damage even if you have 'repair damage' off. I'd like to be able to change tire type/downforce/etc without having to fix damage.

Good point, but it's hard to adjust a smashed wing or change the compound of a burst tyre without replacing it!

Tires are changed. Therefore a change from R3's to R2's for example shouldn't take longer then changing from R3's to R3's. I think the whole pitting thing needs a bit of attention even though its pretty good as it is and usefull. Just some little things like time for takeover, pitting strategies, changing compound of tires without repairing the whole car, etc.

actually we can do this already... press f12 dude

I would like to see chassis damage and body damage repair seperated.
Who cares if your fender is a bit out of shape just as long as your suspension is good.

I dont like driving with a HUD all the time.... a pit board every lap would be perfect for me.

ToCA Race Driver style pit board when you enter the pits but you can open it up all the time would work?

Go to one of our servers and you see a very nice pitboard....
