I'm curious what some of you computer savvy people out there think about System Mechanic.

<waves hand> I use System Mechanic 5 I think. In the past I used it to defrag/free the ram before racing when I had only 512 mb. Also I would drop down to 1 mb free when I surfed too much with Windows 98 installed. I have XP and a gig now so... I also use it for the optimized defrag of the harddrive, mess with windows settings, the reg. scanner, and pretty much all the other utilities.

I used something by the name of system mechanic many moons ago. I wasnt impressed tbh.

Used to use it, it would certainly fix that's windows of old had a nasty habit of collecting. I prefer prevantative measures.
