Put it in your "My documents/My games/Far cry 2/user maps" folder, then open the editor, the "FC2editor" is in your "program files/ubisoft/far cry 2/bin" folder. load map and enjoy
i dont know yet how to play it in game only the editor.
Doesn't look better than crysis here, but runs much smoother, and the loading times are great (as long as you dont die too often).
Is it just me that is getting run over alot? There might be a few cars in front of me that I need to a few grenade at, or I'm taking out a few guys, and BAM! Run over by some phantom car behind that I didn't even notice before.
I can't say I like this game hugely atm. The story (what there is of it) doesn't suck you in at all, and all the travling is getting tedious, especially when taking the road guarantees a firefight every 2 minutes, and EVERY other AI car is an enemy, even the ones that look civilian.
ok well, I got a Q6600, 2Gig of DDR2 800mhz Ram, and a 512mb ATI 2900HD (not the best I guess..),
I was fine with Crysis on 'high' (not 'very high') graphics. I read that Farcry2 is less PC intensive than Crysis, so I imagine I can happily run at highish with 2x AA and 2x AF at 1280*1024?
Mouse lag issue was solved by playing at 1680x1050 here. Game is fixed, well it was never broke in first. It's just that I expected more from this game.
1280*1024 is my monitors native res (17" lol), I read about the issue and that changing from DX10 to DX9 solved it, so that is what I will do! :woohoo:
