No: Some Brits read the Mail (more than we'd care to admit), and the Mail likes to complain about immigration, and I was satirising the mail.

Those of us with brains in our heads are at least happy that we can now hire a plumber for less than the cost of a private dentist. The only person I've met who was upset by the recent influx of Polish immigrants was the bloke who installed radiators in the second storey of my flat, and he went on to complain about how York is now full of Chinese people; "You can't turn around without bumping into one".

Bring more Polish immigrants, please!
