Hi guys, I am planning to buy/order a laptop one of these day. My biggest interest goes to the Acer Aspire 8920G: 18.4Inch widescreen Full HD (yes, effective 1920x1080), 4Gb ram, Intel C2D [email protected], 2x 320GB HDD. GeForce 9650M GS.
What u guys think?

I have that laptop. Writing on it now

(actually, yours is slightly better than mine :P)

Plays LFS brilliantly, loads everything in a flash - super quick. Can't fault it apart from the fact that the first one I got was broken.

Battery life is about 2h. Media Centre thing is great. Screen is lovely, and, according to my sister, its 'mega cool!!' - which I think is a good thing

EDIT: Yes, it is quite big Not too heavy though

Ye i'm pretty aware of the batt, but its a hell of a screen so lol. I'll be running a 64-Bit Vista Ultimte that comes with it. About 4-5 KG, not to heavy

@Erik: If you'd see my weener would you also say "Quite big for a penis"?

18.4" is HUGE though. Mine's 17" and people comment on how big it is (the laptop that is :razz. I couldn't even find a carrier bag for it, had to get one off of eBay.

It does sound pretty good performance wise though, you could really use it as a desktop if you wanted to

BTW, 1080p will be terrible at that screen size. My 19" at 1080p is almost unusable, much better in 720p. Also, your battery won't last pissing time. Mine lasts about an hour

I do.

And the battery is pretty good. I get 2h on power saver doing stuff like solitaire and things like that, bout an hour playing lfs.
