I don't know. Some people just don't care. Not everything is a "statement" about yourself.

It would be like spreading your own shit on your walls and not be bothered be the look or the smell of it.

No it wouldn't.
Quote from sinbad :No it wouldn't.

Sorry, I didn't know you knew somebody who has one... hahahahhahahahahahaha
It looks like a squashed frog with every mental and physical disabilty going!

What do the drivers look like :scared:

You're a funny guy.

I don't.
Do you?

Well you're defending it as if it's a joke that's beneath you. You can only agree with it.
Quote from BlueFlame :Well you're defending it as if it's a joke that's beneath you. You can only agree with it.

I'm not really defending it at all, it's not a good looking car. Just saying that not everyone thinks that everything they wear, own, use has to be "fabulous". I'm not even going to ask what car you drive and what it "says" about you.

I don't care. Some people don't care.

You see a Multipla and you immediately make a negative assumption about the person behind the wheel. Good for you, I guess. Nothing shallow about that at all.

PS. You lowered the tone to the point where it was pretty much beneath everybody with your reply to my first post.

You, like everybody else here, should be passionate about cars, if you are saying that it doesn't matter what car you drive because it doesn't reflect anything about your personality then you are 100% wrong.

Not everyone is like us. I think that was basically my point

I tend to think less of people that buy a car because it's a status symbol than people who buy a car because it serves their desired purpose.

Well to me a car has to have soul. Fiat can be soul, 500, 147 etc but cars like a Fiat Multipla have been designed by what can only be described as a drug addled moron. There's so many cars like a Multipla that serve the same purpose, WON'T breakdown and DON'T look like water beds welded together.
Not many cars seat 3 across the front. Is there a Honda that does?

I expect they're fairly cheap too.

If you buy paper for toilet roll, you get low price but you don't get value for money. That is what the Multipla is. Paper bog roll that you find at car shows in a portaloo or in a pub toilet.

Now you're just (in an odd way) arguing that it's not a very good car, and not anything about the way you judge the people that drive them. There are lots of rubbish cars driven by people, for various reasons. That's not the discussion.

Anyway, the crux of this argument was reached in the first few posts. Let's drop it before people think I feel as strongly about the way you think as you do about the way apparently all Multipla drivers think.

Why? This is not a car forum. This is a computer game forum.

It's a racing sim forum!!! LFS IS NOT A GAME!!!

EDIT: WTH, how did we get from football to this?
back to footy please?

Yarr. I don't give a toss about cars, I don't know or care how they work, I don't know the difference between a good one and a bad one. I think BMWs must run better when they're 1" or less behind the car infront, and the top speed of a Micra seems to be 40mph, but that's the extent of my car knowledge.

I use them to move me and my stuff around and so long as that happens without any drama that's all I care about.
Hey....WTF
Right....this is me putting the foot down.

I started this thread to avoid another thread being hijacked by football talk. This thread should be about all things football.....including laughing at Liverpool and Scottish football. NOT about cars, you can create your own thread about cars with soul or what not yourselves, but I will not see this thread be hijacked by petty arguments (petty arguments regarding the pros and cons of zonal marking allowed), heck I would even prefer to see Gills4life gloat about Gillingham wining again...although going by previous results that might not happen for a while.

We have an great Premiership battle for the top 4 going on and about 7 teams in danger of going down. We have the old firm this Sunday (arguably one of the top 3 derbies in the UK) and the highland derby this Sat (arguably the coldest derby to be played this weekend). Meanwhile we have the best of European football has to offer and an exciting Champions League 1/4 finals to look forward too. Mind that the African nations start within 2 weeks and we have the World Cup to look forward to (and with any luck, England screwing it up in the quarter finals and going out in penalties......again )

So all I’m asking is that you take the petty, ill-informed and frankly useless arguments else where...thanks
Football vacations around here.

:shhh: I'm trying to keep a low profile this season :hide:

Leeds 1 - 0 Man U

****INGWFIONGFIQNFIQFNQFNYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I can't stand Leeds (growing up around Leeds fans will do that to you) but that was a great game and - importantly - they're not Manchester United.

I wonder where Beckford's going to be at the end of the transfer window. Not in league one that's for sure.
It's a shame it couldn't have been a lower league team that isn't scum.
