Not downforce, but you can be sure it'll cause a vast amount of drag for negligable change in lift.
And, at the end of the day, it's a Civic. You can't polish a turd*. You really can't. It'll always just be a Civic.
*Actually, you could, but only in the 80s. The Rally Championship produced some good'uns. - particularly things like the 205 T16. But not the 6R4, which wasn't very good either, as befits the base car.
That's what Japan car design is nowadays, make a box, cut a few ditches and indents in it, stick on some plastic body parts.......and you get a car, works for vans, trucks, people carriers and sports cars.
