Recently, my FFEX wheel has been getting more innacurate. By this, I mean that if you do one simple turn of the wheel to say 90 degrees, the steering in game will glitch a lot and do lots of jumps, sometimes in the right direction, sometimes not. It's more noticeable when there's only a little amount of lock on, meaning that it doesn't go exactly where you want it to and it's generally annoying, especially if you're chasing hundreths of a second.

Basically, I'm wondering if there's anything inside the wheel that I can clean / tighten or whatever to hopefully try and eradicate the problem? Sorry if my description isn't very clear, I'll try and get a bit of vid at some point.

My FFEX used to do that occasionally, never too often to be much of a problem though. I think it only did it when you had one or both of the pedals slightly pressed.

It's been quite some time since i've used the wheel now so i'm not 100% sure.

It might be worth opening the pedals and cleaning them out. The holes that the pedals stick out of are quite open and tend to collect a lot of crap in there.
