Anyone got any advice on software for recovering files from a corrupted USB drive? Silly computer at uni has messed up the file system so it's reading as a RAW. I've done some scans on it at uni with some software and it's finding the files on it but I can't save them without buying the app.

Is there anything I can do to make it work again? Or any suggestions on software? Kinda need to recover the files as my presentation is on the drive and I need it for tomorrow !

Try the free one, since it allows you to use restore a single file, you can perhaps just find a way to trick it (maybe even do it on different systems)

Last time I backed it up was 10 days ago... unfortuantley in that time I've completed the project!

I'm not really fussed if I have to buy software (as long as it's not too expensive), just need to retrieve these files... otherwise it's going to be a long night!
