Yeah big rims with the current height would look even worse.
Quote from G!NhO :My new rimZ y0!
I also put in a new ///M gearknob and 4 airfresheners, vanilla scented!

That looks terrible...
every time i look at the picture i like the rims a little more..but im still not the biggest fan

and i diddnt notice that it was too high, doesnt look too bad in my eyes height wise

EDIT: yeah the second picture brings out the height problem

It's not just the height that makes it look stupid, I would say they stick out way too much aswell.

Stupid question - are those UK plates, or they just very similar in Hong Kong?
we were a UK colony, so not strange they look similiar!
Wow Hong Kong is so clean.. it's odd, once you keep something that clean, people then feel guilty about littering it :P

You could probably find parts of Watford that are that tidy.

Just that the dirty parts of Hong Kong doesn't actually have space for you to park your car and take pictures.

The location is inside a expensive private residential estate, that's why its so clean.
Yes.

Quote from S14 DRIFT :Lol you didn't know this? You can set cruise at say, 60, accelerate above this and then when the car coasts back to 60 it will continue it's set cruising speed. Only the throttle and brake disengage it while the throttle overrides it until it's input has been stopped. And if potholes will disable it something is clearly wrong so start checking for dodgy brake and clutch sensors.

Darn it, I wish I didn't say anything now as people are still missing my point...

I know that some cars are still able to have full use of the accelerator while cruise control is enabled. My point was that a lot of cars I have driven disable the cruise control when you touch the throttle pedal. For example, my GS disables it, as does an A-Class at work, my brothers Megane etc. etc. I was just happy that my Honda is one of the cars that doesn't disable it.

As for this...

Quote from S14 DRIFT :And if potholes will disable it something is clearly wrong so start checking for dodgy brake and clutch sensors.

Unfortunately, you are wrong. My Honda (as well as every other 6th Gen Accord I have driven.) has incredibly sensitive micro switches on the brake and clutch pedal. Yes, large bumps will disable it. The reason they are so sensitive is because they will pickup the bumps if you stray off the road (Clip a kerb, for example.) and then disable the cruise control. That way, if you fall asleep and go off the road, the cruise control wont stay set at 80mph and smash you into a house.

I don't think it's intentional (although i'm prepared to be proved wrong) - the switch is there so if you touch the clutch / brake it kills the cruise control. It's sensitive so the second you so much as breathe on the pedal, it will turn off, in case of an emergency...

I've not tried driving into a kerb with cruise on, so I can't confirm if mines that sensitive - but I doubt it.

Wierdly it says in my handbook that cruise turns off (on the diesel, only) if you use the throttle as an override for 40+ seconds.. but it doesn't. And I can see no technical reason why it would
I know why the switches are there.

According to my handbook and the owners club, it is intentional. Granted it's a little agricultural, but it works well. It even says in the handbook that "large shocks" will disable the cruise control in case of an accident.
TC disables my Cruise Control as well.

Awesome thanks

I love the reactions haha, to be honest i didn't like borbet A's either but i thought i just try them and look. And now i really love them, the white fits the car perfectly imo and alot of people said they loved the wheels.
@blueflame the car still handles fine, maybe even better although you might not believe that haha but that may be because i had wintertyres.

And on the second pic i just jacked the right front up so it looks really high, but the front and rear normally are the same height.

Well as Jack says normal cars don't work that way.

And to be honest if you're going 80mph and you fall asleep, whether the cruise control is on or off, you're going to have a big crash. Mine's only every deactivated when the traction control is used (as in go round a corner really fast and the TC flashes up - it cuts off then) but never by bumps or anything.

But hey!

Ouch, what did you do? Looks like a proper big stone was thrown at your car or dropped from a bridge as you were driving...damn brother.

yeah, a rock about ½ the size of my fist hit it while i was driving at 50mph... i dont know how it flew there, but probably it bounced off a tire from an oncoming caravan, but i think thats not possible
