i do have winter tires on it, the thing was that the damn computer was only giving power to one wheel.... what the ffu. if the jewish towing dudes didnt come i would have gotten it out of there in 30 more minutes but i got lucky i guess.
who knows? im not an expert, never said i was one, and if it does or doesn't it doesnt change the fact that for me it is just a car that goes from point A to B and that is more fun to drive than say.. a honda civic.
What you're talking about is a known technology, but not in your 15+ years old car. New, or only a few years old cars already have this technology. Also, not even sure ECU does the job, these modern cars have more computers than a space shuttle. :F
Indeed, both rear springs were broken, so after putting the new ones in, it still sits about 20mm lower on the drivers side rear compared to the passengers side rear, although from googling this is allegedly normal, and can be combated by fitting a thicker spring top mount designed for the E36 on the lower side.
Yeah, that isn't normal. Did you try changing your dampers too as this can cause the vehicle to drop, although for a 20mm difference, you'd notice a shocking ride. Really, I'd be looking for a twisted chassis. 20mm is a massive difference.
Yeah they are all intact and as they should be, identical amount of wear on each, which is very slight, this problem puts me of lowering it in future, as from what i have read the problem still exists and is more noticeable due to the whole car being lower, unless you get coilovers to adjust it out, still seems pretty odd to me though.
Ha I have fans
They are only winter wheels hence why they are only 15 inches, cheaper for winter tyres...the price difference between 15 and 16 inch winter tyres is like 25%!!!
I painted them myself lol, ja ich habe eine orangensaft mit mienem auto.
i'm also so scene i accidentally stretched my winter tyres. they are 195/55/15 and the rim is supposed to take 215/55/15s LOL *facepalm*
