Hello!

I'm about to build my own little raceseat using a Nissan seat I have left over.
There is one problem.
I want to build it in wood with wooden panels and wooden frame.
On other hand my father always wants it to be abit overkill so he wants me to build a metal frame.

I don't know which really, any opinions on which is best?
sure wooden is alot easier to make but steel frame is better in the long run ...

Wood will be much easier and Steel is better in the long run, as you say!

Although there are many times of wood, so your best bet would be to research the properties of differents woods you can buy and make it out of that. Besides, it'll be warmer than steel, and much more malleable.

It will probably be wood since it's easier too and cheaper.

Have you thought about PVC pipes?

unless your going to move it 20x per week, why would you waste your time with metal?
