Is it a driver record or a constructor record?
Well, that would be making it too easy, wouldn't it. But not all records are driver records or constructor records.
That is true, I have 1987 and 1990 staring me in the face if I could find a record to link them.

Although now you'll tell me it's neither of thise years either!
I'll only comment on complete answers.
Bah I give up, I was going for Williams' 6 consecutive wins in 1987 and McLaren's 13 consecutive podiums in 1990 but I can't link the two seasons with a record at all. I am thoroughly defeated!
I knew I had a good one when I thought it up
I think the years you are talking about would be either before I was born or before I took interest in F1. But to try and make it easier for everyone else I looked up what teams had used Honda engines and when...

Spirit - 1983
Lotus - 1987
Mclaren -1988/1992
Tyrrell - Not sure on this one
Williams - 1984/1987
Jordan - 2001/2002
BAR - 2000/2005

...hopefully that helps a little bit. Obviously I left out the fully fledged manufacturer versions of Honda F1 teams which would be at either end of that list.
Dont forget Honda itself in the 60's
Let's face it, no-one's gonna get the answer! I have a much easier but possibly surprising question and answer if anybody wants it...

Edit: OK the answer is no longer surprising after the last few races of 2008! Goddamit!
Muhahahaha!
Yeah everyone's definately given up. Now tell us the answer Mr. Toaster and think up a new question.

I'm gonna pop a quick one in if you don't mind:

Up until the final race of 2008, which driver had led the most km's for Toyota?
Bearing in mind no-one was able to crack mine, here's the answer.

In 1987 Williams won six consecutive races, and in 1990 McLaren got thirteen consecutive podia.

These two years shared a rather unconventional record - the most times the red flag was used during a season. The red was shown five times during each. 1987 included the Austrian GP that took three attempts to start, and in 1990 the Belgian GP also got stopped twice on lap 1.
Damn I was so close, another question duke or are you so gracious as to let mine be the next one?
You do one, I can't be arsed to think of one now
Ralf Schumi??
Nope, keep the guesses coming, Toyota have only had 8 drivers altogether so someone will get it.
Panis??
Nope, I don't think he ever led a lap for Toyota. Getting warmer though!
Whats his face.......
Trulli?? :P
Nope. Trulli does now after leading 2 laps in Brazil but another driver held the record for Toyota up until that race.
Mika Salo??
I KNOW IT!!! (please god)

Cristiano da Matta
'Fraid not. I'll give you a clue: it was the only race he led in his career, he led it for 17 laps, and it was at Silverstone.

Edit: Well done it was Cristiano da Matta!
da Matta and Panis were 1-2 in that race.
Yeah sorry I was replying to the Salo post when you replied with da Matta!
