Momo Racing keeps uncentering!!

I am running the 4.60 + Centring fix, but I still have to turn it once or twice left to right before I start LFS. Now for me this is just habit, but I don't have a problem anymore.

If I dont turn it before I start LFS, then yes I get simular problems to what you are describing. Maybe try that?
Another thing which I found out recently that my anti virus subscription is up and it likes to keep popping up to tell me. When it interupted LFS and caused LFS to minimize, when I went back into LFS I had to turn lock to lock.

Not sure if this is of any help but thought I'd say something

ok centering fix didnt help me and my dfp at all but dxtweak did and all is well!!

Thanks very much!
Sorry, I didn't read every reply.

Some problems I've seen with my Momo - the centering fix was fixed by the momo racing wheel patch, however from time to time there are still some odd problems, they've only been a nusiance more than a continuing problem.

Here's what I do, hopefully it might help someone.

Before I start LFS, I go the windows game controller icon in the control panel, and calibrate the wheel.
Then, I start lfs, and as the start up screen plays, I turn the wheel fully to the left and right, and press both pedals to the limits.

Occasionally, the wheel seems to get slightly off, or I lose the top 5% or accleratation. At that point, I unplug the usb, plug it back in ( while lfs is running ) and recalibrate in LFS.

The accleration problem hasn't happened in a long time, and I think it's just starting to happen now because it's been over 3 months since I've done a good pedal cleaning.

The steering problems are very rare, in my case, and unplugging / replugging corrects it, usually for months at a time.
It could be a dirty pot too. I had the problem where everytime I went around a corner the wheel would centre in a different place.

I took my momo apart and carefully pried open the pot and cleaned it out with isopropyl alcohol. Getting the pot open is the hard part, I did it with the blade of a sharp knive.

My wheel is nice and smooth again now.

Go to the controllers screen and slowly move the wheel back and forth. The indicator on screen should move smoothly, not jump around.
My Logi pedals are scarred as a Vietnam vet sent to Iraq twice, but the DFP wheel is still rock solid, no such problems here. Weird stuff...
